ATP World No. 4 Andy Murray and three-time Sony Ericsson Open champion Venus Williams brought Miami’s Ocean Drive traffic to a standstill on Monday evening as they participated in a roof-top exhibition in front of a large crowd to promote the Sony Ericsson Open.

“This has to be the craziest place I’ve ever played tennis definitely – on top of a car!” exclaimed Venus Williams. “Promotions like this are excellent for tennis. I think it’s great to have sponsors like Sony Ericsson who really make things happen like this; everyone sees tennis and everyone feels like they’re part of something special.”

“It’s great,” echoed Murray. “Obviously the last five or six months I’ve got to do more of these sorts of things and it’s obviously good fun and nice to take your mind away from tournaments some times. It was good fun - a little bit intimidating in front of a lot more people than I expected but I enjoyed it!”
